Job summary

Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL is seeking a CT Technologist III to operate CT scanners, prepare patients, and perform CT biopsies as needed. The role includes patient education, contrast administration, and collaboration with Radiology staff to deliver high-quality imaging.

This full-time position offers a sign-on bonus of $10,000, a weekend/holiday rotation, and potential for annual increases based on performance. Hours are 3pm–2:30am, Monday through Friday, with on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• An Associate’s Degree or higher (Preferred)
• IEMA licensure
• ARRT (Radiology) certification, preferred. Must successfully complete certification exam and be registered within six months of start date into position.
• ARRT (CT), (Computerized Tomography), preferred. Must successfully complete certification exam and be registered within six months of start date into position.
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
• 2+ years CT experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanner to obtain filmed images for diagnosis and treatment per Radiologist directions and procedures.
• Positions patients for procedures and administers contrast media.
• Operates scanners to visualize pathologies and reproduces screen images on film.
• Delivers customer service and communicates procedures to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
• CT Tech III duties include performing CT biopsies and assisting IR procedures.
