Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem is seeking a CT Technologist II for Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. The role is full time (32 hours weekly) with weekend shifts from Saturday to Sunday 8:00 pm–7:00 am; the position requires CT expertise and appropriate radiology credentials.

Responsibilities include operating the CT scanner, positioning patients, administering contrast, and ensuring high-quality imaging while providing compassionate patient care and clear explanations to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred: Associate degree or higher.
• IEMA licensure required.
• ARRT Radiology and CT certifications required; must be registered within six months of start date.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner to obtain diagnostic images per Radiologist directions.
• Position patients, administer contrast, and ensure image quality.
• Provide courteous patient care and explain procedures to reduce anxiety.
