Job summary

You will operate CT scanners and related equipment, perform CT procedures and post-processing, follow safety protocols, monitor dose data, and ensure patient preparation and positioning.

This role requires adaptability to multiple locations and ongoing study of physics, pharmacology, and anatomy to optimize image quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program.
• Technical expertise with CT imaging, including dose management and advanced procedures.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and physics relevant to CT imaging.
• Ability to adapt protocols based on clinical needs and patient safety considerations.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to acquire diagnostic images.
• Perform all CT procedures and post-processing using advanced technology and clinical protocols.
• Maintain protocols aligned with safety guidelines and monitor dose data, notifying when scan levels exceed preset thresholds.
• Ensure proper patient preparation, positioning, immobilization, and protective shielding.
• Perform CT interventional procedures and advanced CTA imaging, including specialized studies.
• Interpret technical factors to optimize scan quality and speed, ensuring adherence to clinical histories and anatomy knowledge.
• Operate different CT systems across multiple locations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of physics, pharmacology, and physiology.
