Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures, administer ionizing radiation, and assist licensed practitioners with diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging needs.

Responsibilities include patient prep, protocol optimization, image evaluation, and collaboration with teams. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and education of staff and students in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification before starting.
• Completion of a specialized radiologic technology training program; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to evaluate images and follow safety and legal protocols.

• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles for patient safety.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and verify data transfer and storage.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and assist with interventional procedures.
• Perform prescribed CT procedures independently or with guidance, adhering to organizational policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification before starting.
• Completion of a specialized radiologic technology training program; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Ability to evaluate images, operate imaging equipment, and follow safety and legal protocols.
