Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience required.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT-CT certification required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adjust techniques to maintain quality at ALARA.
• Clean, disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders with two patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety during imaging.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol; document in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies as needed.
