Wellstar is seeking a CT Technologist for Cobb Hospital in Georgia to perform CT procedures and deliver high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. The role requires ARRT CT/R and ARRT Radiography credentials with at least one year in radiology, plus BLS.

The position is a full-time night shift with a 36-hour schedule and benefits including PTO, mental health support, wellness rooms and education through CareerCare.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography certification.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and capture diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, maintaining dose ALARA.
• Maintain room cleanliness and report equipment issues.
• Verify orders and patient identifiers; obtain clinical history.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and ease patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, safety during visits.
• Administer contrast per protocol and apply sterile technique.
• Position patients and apply markers and shielding.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and release patients.
• Document accurately in RIS/PACS; manage transfers and copies.
• Monitor patient condition and assist in emergencies.
• Support department workflow and regulatory compliance.
