Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio is seeking a CT Technologist to join the radiology team. The role includes night shifts (7p–7a), with a 5x12 hour schedule every two weeks, and every other Sunday on call.

The CT tech will operate imaging equipment, perform CT-guided procedures, and support patient care in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited radiologic program, ARRT registered, with CT credential within one year, and hold an Ohio radiographer

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and equipment to maintain understanding.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and communicate effectively under stress.
• Work independently and as part of the CT team.
