Job summary

MetroHealth’s radiology department in Ohio is seeking a CT Technologist to join the team for night shifts. The role includes producing CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient flow for inpatients and outpatients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and works well under supervision.
• Collaborates with CT team and nurses to deliver safe care.
