Job summary

CHS Career Site is seeking a CT Technologist I for the night shift to operate CT equipment, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and ensure patient safety. You will prepare and position patients, maintain equipment, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver timely results.

Responsibilities include administering contrast, monitoring for adverse reactions, performing routine quality checks, and adhering to safety and infection control protocols in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic sciences program.
• 1-2 years clinical CT experience required.
• 2-4 years CT experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images per protocols.
• Position patients for CT procedures ensuring comfort and safety.
• Verify patient identity and orders; screen contraindications.
• Administer contrast media as ordered; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Review images and present to radiologist; communicate findings.
• Maintain CT equipment and perform quality control checks.
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety guidelines.
