Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a CT Technologist (new graduates encouraged) to perform diagnostic CT exams per physician orders and imaging protocols. You will work with Radiologists and the care team to produce quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The role requires ARRT-accredited training, state licensure/fluoroscopy permit, and CT ARRT certification, with BCLS on hire. Night shift, full time, with a sign-on bonus possible.

Qualifications

• One year of acute radiology experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment is required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
• Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• CT ARRT Certification is required.
• Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations using established imaging protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients for CT procedures.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following ALARA radiation safety principles.
• Verify patient identity, review physician orders, and obtain relevant clinical history.
• Process and transmit images through PACS and document procedures in the EMR.
• Collaborate with Radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain CT equipment and a safe, compliant imaging environment.
• Adhere to HIPAA, infection prevention, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
