Job summary

McLaren Health Care seeks a part-time CT Technologist to provide high-quality CT imaging in the radiology department. You will perform CT scans, prepare patients, and ensure safety protocols during complex imaging procedures.

Responsibilities include operating tomography equipment, maintaining records, and collaborating with physicians to capture accurate images for diagnosis. The role requires AMA-approved school of radiology tech, ARRT CT certification, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Certified CT Technologist or eligible with CT ARRT certification.
• Current BLS certification from AHA/ARC or equivalent.
• Graduation from AMA-approved school of radiology technology.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and explains procedures to foster comfort.
• Operates and maintains tomography scanner equipment.
• Prepares patients by positioning and explaining the process.
• Administers medications within scope of practice as prescribed.
• Performs quality assurance and radiation safety practices.
• Maintains documentation and records in paper and electronic formats.
• Maintains adequate consumables and performs routine equipment checks.
• May assist other radiology areas as assigned.
