The CT Technologist at Cobb Hospital delivers safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience within Wellstar’s integrated health system in Georgia.

You will perform CT procedures per department guidelines, operate imaging equipment safely, maintain ALARA, document findings in RIS/PACS, and collaborate with technologists to ensure smooth workflow while prioritizing patient safety and patient comfort.

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent plus accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-CT and BLS certifications required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and obtain diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA standards.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and patient IDs before exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

ARRT-R (Radiography)

ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography

BLS (American Heart Association)
