Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for a full-time night shift. The role emphasizes safe imaging, patient-centered care, and precise documentation within RIS/PACS. Collaboration with the radiology team ensures quality exams while minimizing patient dose.

Requirements include ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and completion of an accredited radiologic technology program, plus recent radiology experience and BLS certification.

Qualificações

• Education & certification requirements for radiologic imaging.
• ARRT radiography and CT certifications required.
• BLS certification preferred or required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and adjust techniques for diagnostic quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA exposure levels.
• Prepare and position patients, obtain clinical history, and verify identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and support patient comfort and safety.
• Document studies accurately and finalize them in RIS/PACS.

Formação académica

High School Diploma or equivalent

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

ARRT-R (Radiography)

ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography

BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association
