Wellstar seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and supportive patient experiences at Columbia County Medical Center Hospital. You will be a valued clinical professional in a collaborative care team, performing CT procedures with attention to safety and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma plus accredited radiologic technology program.
• Certifications: ARRT-R and ARRT-CT; BLS required.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year radiology experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely while maintaining ALARA dose principles.
• Prepare and disinfect rooms; report equipment issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients.
• Explain procedures and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout visits.
• Administer contrast per protocol using proper venipuncture technique.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as needed.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, restock equipment, and support workflow.
