Job summary

Connections Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a large hospital in Georgia, about 1½ hours from Atlanta. Weekend night shift Fri–Sun, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. Offers include a $10,000 sign-on bonus and $2,500 relocation assistance.

Under indirect supervision, you will acquire, process, submit for interpretation, and archive CT images while caring for patients in the CT department. You will position patients, communicate procedures, and ensure quality before radiologist review.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Graduate of AMA, JRC or regionally accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Registered or Registry eligible per EMP 8.
• ARRT CT registry required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT image acquisition, processing, submission for interpretation, and archiving.
• Care for patients in the CT department during exams.
• Position patients and determine techniques to demonstrate cross-sectional anatomy.
• Communicate with patients to explain procedures and address questions.
• Review imaging requests for appropriateness with radiologists for final approval.
• Enter patient and study data into RIS; document billing codes.
• Assist Radiologists and collaborate with care team as needed.
• Monitor patient status during exams and contact care team for changes.
• Provide guidance to students and junior staff when assigned.
• Identify and report critical issues per policy; utilize supplies cost-effectively.
• Maintain continuing education and certifications for modality.

Education
