Job summary

The CT Technologist WEPP at University of Kentucky Healthcare in Lexington, KY provides diagnostic imaging to support physicians, performing or assisting in CT procedures according to department protocols, maintaining a clean, safe work environment and ensuring proper patient and image identification.

The role requires ARRT and Kentucky Radiation Operator licenses, BLS within 90 days, CT certification within one year; Friday/Saturday night or Sat/Sun night shifts, 6:30 pm–7:00 am, with holidays

Qualifications

• Excellent patient care skills and technical/CT knowledge.
• At least one year of CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic imaging for patients to assist physicians in expediting care.
• Perform or assist in CT procedures per department protocols; maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Identify images and patients correctly for interpretation; order exams matching procedures.
