Job summary

Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Kentucky is seeking a CT Technologist to provide imaging services under the supervision of a registered CT Technologist. The role supports a 0.9 FTE schedule with hours roughly 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM, including weekends.

You will assist with positioning, exposure selection, and procedures while adhering to radiation safety standards and ALARA principles. Licensing and onboarding steps are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Associate’s degree or higher in Science or related field required upon hire.
• Credentials: RT(R) in Radiology required upon hire; ROC required; BLS within 90 days; RT(CT) within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and select exposure factors accurately.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Assist physician in imaging procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media within scope and regulations.
• Set up equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures.
