Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology is required.
• RTR licensure in Commonwealth Massachusetts is required.
• CT modality requires a Sub-specialty (CT) certification within 1 year of employment.
• BLS certification is required.
• Maintaining CEUs for ARRT, DPH according to regulation is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for CAT scans and ensures comfort and modesty.
• Sets up CT scanner and performs CT interventional studies including biopsies and injections.
• Assists Radiologist during procedures as required.
• Evaluates CT scans for technical quality and performs 2D/3D reformations.
• Maintains patient records, supplies, and billing information.
• Trains new CT Technologists and students.
• Adheres to ALARA and radiation safety standards.
