Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a CT Technologist for evening and overnight shifts in Worcester, MA. You will prepare patients, operate CT equipment, and assist radiologists to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to ALARA safety standards.

The role requires ARRT certification in Radiology, RTR licensure in Massachusetts, and CT sub-specialty certification within 1 year. BLS is also required; candidate must be able to work 28 hours weekly on site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for CT exams and ensures patient comfort and modesty.
• Operates CT scanner and interventional CT procedures including biopsies and injections.
• Evaluates CT images for technical quality and assists radiologists with image processing.
• Maintains patient records, supplies, and department equipment in accordance with ALARA principles.
