Job summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist in Des Moines, Iowa. This full-time position offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus and requires working Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights from 8 PM to 8 AM with a rotating holiday schedule.

The role includes educating patients, assisting with sedation, and training student technologists while ensuring quality processes. Ideal candidates should be graduates from an AMA approved school and have ARRT CT Board Certification within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT CT Board Certification required within 6 months of hire.
• CT experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate and protect patients entering the CT scanning room.
• Assist with patient sedation and monitoring.
• Support the training of Student Radiologic Technologists.
• Contribute to quality assurance processes.
• Serve as a liaison between the Radiology Department and physicians.
