Job summary

MercyOne in Iowa is seeking a CT Technologist to join our team. No prior CT experience? We provide comprehensive training and support growth within a collaborative radiology department. This position includes a $7500 sign-on incentive and relocation eligibility depending on location.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).
• CT experience preferred; CT credential (ARRT or NMTCB) preferred.
• Maintain active radiology registry and state license to practice.
• Must complete mandatory reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.
• Maintain Basic Life Support qualification.

Responsibilities

• Efficient interpretation of clinical information for radiology imaging needs.
• Provide thorough and accurate imaging technique and patient positioning.
• Monitor radiation exposure time and activity to ensure safety.
• Apply sterile techniques and safety practices for patients and staff.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment.
