Job summary

Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, BLS certification, and the ability to work rotating 4x10s with call. Prioritizes safety, accuracy, and patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of CT-specific radiologic training.
• Proficiency in patient communication and safety.
• Familiarity with exam protocols and dose monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per exam protocol in a timely manner.
• Monitor radiation dose and act when reference levels are exceeded.
• Explain procedures using patient-friendly communication (AIDET).
• Prepare patient and equipment for procedures and adjust exposure factors.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control practices.
• Maintain imaging records per policy and standards.
