Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures supervised by a Radiologist, ensuring accuracy and patient safety. The role involves following established protocols, using iSTAT for relevant testing, and maintaining documentation and imaging records with care.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited CT program degree, have- or are pursuing CT certification, and can work with limited supervision while providing compassionate patient care in a busy radiology

Qualifications

• Performs CT procedures under radiologist supervision following exam protocols.
• Maintains patient care standards and safety procedures.
• Follows radiation safety guidelines and quality controls.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality CT procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
• Demonstrates knowledge of radiation dose reference levels and monitoring.
• Uses iSTAT point of care testing for creatinine levels as required.
• Assists in maintaining supplies and documentation per department policy.
• Maintains imaging records in the department system and chart appropriately.
• Operates equipment while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
