Job summary

Qualifications include ARRT CT and Radiography/NM certifications, plus Texas MRT licensure. Experience is <1 year. The position offers full-time hours with weekdays and rotating 4x10 schedules, no weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Must also be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (R) or Nuclear Medicine (N). Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board as a CNMT is also accepted.
• Licensed by State of TX Medical Board as Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
• Experience: Less than 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality CT procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
• Maintains production and quality by following established standards and procedures.
• Verifies and uses iSTAT for creatinine level where applicable.
• Uses AIDET to communicate with patients and ensures correct exam is performed for each patient.
• Prepares patient and area for the procedure, positions patient, and sets exposure factors.
