Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures under radiologist supervision. You will follow established protocols, ensure patient safety, and prepare patients and exam areas for accurate imaging.

The role requires certification in CT and radiography, BLS qualifications, and the ability to communicate clearly with patients and families while maintaining quality and safety standards in a busy radiology department.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Certification requirements include ARRT in CT and radiography (CNMT accepted).
• BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality CT procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
• Demonstrates knowledge of radiation dose reference levels and monitors exposure. Takes action if dose exceeds references.
• Uses AIDET to communicate with patients and explains procedures to patients and families.
