Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS per AI.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain diagnostic quality with ALARA.
• Disinfect rooms and report equipment issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders with two identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety during exams.
• Administer contrast and use sterile venipuncture techniques.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and document findings.
• Maintain RIS/PACS workflow and complete required documentation.
• Support department operations and maintain stock and cleanliness.
