Job summary

Duke University Health System is seeking an experienced or new graduate CT Technologist to join a comprehensive imaging program. You will support inpatient and emergency patients with CT imaging across our main hospital and Duke Medicine Pavilion.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT registered and able to obtain CT certification within 18 months of employment.
• Minimum of two years' experience as a CT technologist.
• A minimum of 4 years' experience within specialty modality in which they are seeking promotion.
• Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification.
• Certification in Radiography, Radiation Therapy, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or CNMT.
• Registered in Computed Tomography (CT) required within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans using position devices and protective equipment.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and IV placement.
• Evaluate scans for technical quality and label images correctly.
• Schedule patients and assist with clerical functions.
• Provide orientation and training to new CT technologists.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow; ensure safety standards.
