Job summary

Duke University Hospital, part of Duke University Health System in Durham, NC, seeks a CT Technologist to support inpatient and emergency imaging services within a large, advanced program.

The team operates 20 scanners across sites, with opportunities for mentorship, clinical ladder advancement, and a collaborative, patient-centered care model. Weekend option and comprehensive benefits provided for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate or complete a program meeting registry/certification eligibility.
• Must be ARRT registered and able to obtain CT certification within 18 months.
• Level II/III require 2+ / 4+ years of CT experience respectively.
• Certification in Radiography, Radiation Therapy, Nuclear Medicine or CNMT.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment per protocols.
• Position patients and ensure safety during procedures.
• Assist radiologists and perform IV access when needed.
• Schedule procedures and document in EHR.
• Maintain accurate patient records and quality control.
