Job summary

Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC is seeking an experienced or new graduate CT Technologist to join a premier imaging program. You will work across outpatient, inpatient, emergency and interventional services with a team of over 60 CT technologists.

This role involves operating CT scanners, preparing patients, assisting radiologists, IV placements, and training students. A weekend option with WEO pay applies, plus a $15,000 commitment bonus and $3,000 relocation assistance for eligible

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT registered and able to obtain CT certification within 18 months of employment.
• Minimum of two years' experience as a CT technologist.
• A minimum of 4 years' experience within the specialty modality for promotion.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and related equipment per safety procedures.
• Position patients and ensure proper protection.
• Perform exams per established protocols and patient safety standards.
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures and IV placement.
• Assist radiologists in interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT images and label, then transmit to PACS.
• Schedule procedures and assist with clerical tasks.
• Charge procedures and supplies in the EHR.
• Dispense or order oral contrast as needed.
• Provide training to new CT technologists and students.
