Wellstar seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will join a collaborative radiology team focused on safety, accuracy, and efficient workflow.

Qualified candidates have an accredited radiologic technology background with ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and ongoing education opportunities.

Qualificações

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography); ARRT-CT; BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules; report equipment issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history and screen for contraindications; verify orders and two patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care clearly using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care during visits.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol using venipuncture and sterile technique.
