Job summary

Spring View Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Cat Scan Technician (CT) to perform imaging procedures with contrast media, monitor patient status, and ensure quality control. The role emphasizes safety standards, accurate imaging, and timely result reporting in a busy hospital setting.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT/JRCERT/ARMRIT/NMTCB accreditation and an associate degree is preferred; BLS, CT registry within 1 year may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from an ARRT, JRCERT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine required.
• Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient condition continually and report changes as appropriate.
• Prepare equipment and imaging parameters; select exposure factors.
• Implement safety standards and perform quality control on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions.
• Position patient and perform imaging procedures.
• Analyze results and address image quality issues; reposition and repeat as needed.
• Enter, transmit and report scan results.

Education

ARRT/JRCERT/ARMRIT/NMTCB accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine

Associate's degree preferred
