Job summary

Lifepoint Health® seeks a Cat Scan Tech to provide computed tomography imaging at Clinch Valley Health, ensuring patient education and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate has a two-year certificate or associate’s degree and BLS certification. This position includes rotating weekends and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have a two-year certificate or associate’s degree.
• Must have successfully passed the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides CT imaging in accordance with applicable standards.
• Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
• Educates patients on procedures and equipment usage.
• Monitors patient condition and responds to changes.
• Prepares and administers contrast media when ordered.
