Requirements include a high school diploma, accredited radiography training, ARRT/CRT certification, and New Jersey license. Preference given to candidates with 3+ years hospital experience and independent work capability.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CAT Scan procedures.
• Prepare imaging equipment for scanning.
• Administer contrast agents under radiologist supervision.
• Ensure radiation safety throughout procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment and adjust settings as needed.
• Maintain supplies for CT imaging.
• Troubleshoot equipment and workflow issues.
• Perform quality control of scans.
• Handle patient scheduling and coordination.
• Document procedures thoroughly.
• Assist in training student technologists.
