Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA seeks a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, ensure correct technique, and manage patient care from prep to post-care.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, collaboration with radiology teams, and adherence to infection control practices while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography).
• Certifications: ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules; report equipment issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, screen for contraindications, verify orders and two patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
