The position requires ARRT certification in CT, state licensure, BLS, and CT-specific credentials. Knowledge of PACS/teleradiology and adherence to HIPAA are essential in daily workflow.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• ARRT RT (R)(CT) or RT (R) ARRt required.
• Radiologic Tech license in CA required.
• CT certifications required in OR and HI; CA preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• CA fluoroscopy license if operating fluoroscopy equipment required.
• CA venipuncture certification if administering contrast required.
• HLFS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Maintains accurate records and billing information while upholding HIPAA and confidentiality rules.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment and manages supply inventory.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
