Job summary

Adventist Health White Memorial Montebello is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and produce diagnostic cross-sectional images of patients across the age spectrum. You will perform CT along with general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed, ensuring high image quality and patient safety.

You will work within our radiology team, using PACS and teleradiology systems, maintain records, comply with HIPAA, and participate in equipment maintenance and inventory management.

Qualifications

• ARRT-CT registered (R.T.(R)(CT) or RT(R)) is required.
• CA Radiologic Tech license is required.
• Advanced CT certification preferred in OR and HI; CA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Fluoroscopy license in CA required if fluoroscopy is used.
• Venipuncture certification required in CA when administering contrast.
• HLFS (Hospital Fire and Life Safety) required.
• HIPAA and patient confidentiality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation.
• Perform CT as well as general radiography and fluoroscopy when needed.
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images.
• Use PACS and teleradiology to transfer images to the radiology location.
• Maintain accurate records, files and billing information; ensure image integrity and confidentiality.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory.
