Job summary

Adventist Health White Memorial Montebello seeks a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and produce cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation. The role includes general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed, with attention to patient safety and imaging quality.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate imaging records, utilizing PACS and teleradiology to transfer images, and performing routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.

Qualifications

• ARRT-registered in CT (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT)) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) is required
• CA state radiologic tech license is required
• CT certification in modality preferred in CA; required in OR/HI
• BLS certification required
• Fluoroscopy license if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification if administering contrast

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Maintains accurate records, files and billing information. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and other regulations.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
