Job summary

Adventist Health White Memorial Montebello is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and produce cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation. You will also perform general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed, ensuring high standards of patient care.

The role requires CA radiologic technology licensure, ARRT CT certification, BLS, and potentially fluoroscopy and venipuncture competencies.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Registered by ARRT for CT (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT)) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) as required.
• Radiologic Tech license in CA required.
• CT certification in OR and HI, preferred in CA.
• BLS certification required.
• Fluoroscopy license in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment.
• Venipuncture certification if venipuncture is performed.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation.
• Performs additional imaging modalities including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the correct location.
• Maintains accurate records, files and billing information, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
