Qualifications

• Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification.

• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment following safety procedures.
• Position patients using positioning devices and protective gear.
• Perform examinations per established protocols and safety standards.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate scans for technical quality and label images correctly.
• Schedule procedures and perform clerical support as needed.
• Dispense and/or order oral contrast for CT scans.
• Provide orientation and training to new CT technologists.
• Support patient and family care during CT procedures.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow; assist in protocol development.
