Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, seeks a CT Technologist to operate CT scanners and support radiology services. In this role you will position patients, ensure safety, evaluate image quality, and assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures.

The position is full-time with a 1st shift schedule (Wednesday–Saturday, 10:00 AM–8:30 PM) and includes a $15,000 commitment bonus plus $3,000 relocation assistance. Duke Health supports career growth across its imaging services.

Qualifications

• Must obtain CT certification within 18 months of employment.
• Minimum of two years' experience as a CT technologist.
• ARRT CT certification required within 18 months of employment.
• Certification in Radiography (R), Nuclear Medicine Technology (N), or CNMT.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and related equipment per safety procedures.
• Position patients for CT scans using positioning devices and protective equipment.
• Perform exams per established protocols, policy, and patient safety standards.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label/transfer images to Archival System.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow.
