Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA seeks a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality CT imaging and ensure a positive patient experience. You will work with a collaborative care team to support diagnostic imaging and patient care across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and use technical knowledge to capture high-quality images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules; report equipment issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history and screen for contraindications; verify orders and two patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care clearly using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care throughout the visit.
• Complete accurate documentation and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; manage transfers/retrievals as needed.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with crash cart and life-support equipment as required.
• Organize daily workflows to support department flow and compliance; assist supervisor as needed.

Education
