Novant Health is seeking a CT Technologist II Acute to join the Mint Hill Medical Center acute care team. Schedule: 36 hours/week (Fri/Sat/Sun, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM with rotating call). This role supports inpatient, ED, OR procedures and various acute-care settings.

Required ARRT CT certification within 6 months of hire and a state license. Two-year/Associate degree preferred; one year CT experience preferred. Sign-on bonus may be eligible.

Competenze

• 2 Year / Associate Degree preferred.
• 1 year experience in CT preferred.
• ARRT CT certification or equivalent required within 6 months of hire; state license required.

Mansioni

• Assist physicians in diagnostic/therapeutic CT procedures; prepare patient and operate CT equipment.
• Perform procedures for inpatients, outpatients, ED and OR including biopsies, drainages and injections.
• Work across multiple acute care settings and rotate through the facility as needed.

What You'll Do

The CT technologist II Acute assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans in regional multi-ICU trauma medical center locations. The technologist is responsible for inpatient, outpatient, the emergency department & the operating room procedures to include biopsies, drainages, cryogen, spinal injections, cardiac, trauma, etc. The technologist must possess the skills and competencies necessary to work effectively across a variety of clinical settings and is expected to either regularly work in, or rotate through, an acute care facility as part of their ongoing responsibilities.

What We're Looking For

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
• Experience: One year experience in CT, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification
  • NH Medical Center- Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire. Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) within 6 months of hire, required.
  • Applicable state license, required.
• Additional Skills (required)
  • Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient, ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs.
  • Prepares patient for procedures.
  • Operates CT equipment.
