Schedule: 40 hours/week | Monday to Thursday | 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating call/holidays

Responsibilities

The CT technologist II Acute assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures. Responsibilities include preparing the patient, operating the CT equipment, and obtaining diagnostic scans in various settings (inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, operating room procedures such as biopsies, drainages, cryogen, spinal injections, cardiac, trauma, etc.).

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) or (N) or CNMT certification required (must obtain ARRT (CT) within 6 months of hire)
• Prior acute care experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year/Associate Degree preferred
• One year experience in CT preferred
• NH Medical Center certified/registered by ARRT in CT (RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT) at time of hire; must obtain ARRT (CT) within 6 months
• Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to patient age requirements, preparation of patient for procedures, operation of CT equipment
