Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a CT Technologist II to join a REMARKABLE acute care team. You will prepare patients and operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans across regional multi-ICU trauma centers, including inpatient, outpatient, ED and OR procedures.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and professional growth within a collaborative clinical environment. Strong communication and age-specific patient care are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
• One year CT experience, preferred.
• ARRT CT certification and registration required within 6 months of hire.
• State licensure for CT required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnostic/therapeutic CT procedures and operate CT equipment.
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure safety across multiple locations.
• Perform CT in inpatient, outpatient, ED and OR settings (biopsies, drainages, injections, trauma).

What You'll Do

The CT technologist II Acute assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans in regional multi-ICU trauma medical centre locations. The technologist is responsible for inpatient, outpatient, the emergency department & the operating room procedures to include biopsies, drainages, cryogen, spinal injections, cardiac, trauma, etc.

What We're Looking For

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
• Experience: One year experience in CT, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • NH Medical Center- Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire. Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) within 6 months of hire, required.
  • Applicable state license, required.
• Additional Skills (required):
  • Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient, ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs.
  • Prepares patient for procedures.
  • Operates CT equipment.
