Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist at the Kernersville Medical Center to join our acute care team. In this role, you'll prepare patients for procedures and operate cutting-edge CT equipment. We're looking for individuals with strong communication skills and the ability to adapt procedures to patient needs.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) or (N) or CNMT certification required; must obtain ARRT (CT) within 6 months of hire.
• Prior acute care experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: NH Medical Center-certified and registered by ARRT in CT.

What We’re Looking For

• ARRT (R) or (N) or CNMT certification required (must obtain ARRT (CT) within 6 months of hire)
• Prior acute care experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred
• Experience: one year experience in CT, preferred
• Licensure/Certification: NH Medical Center-certified and registered by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at the time of hire. Certified and registered by ARRT in CT RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) within 6 months of hire, required. Applicable state license, required.
• Additional Skills: Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient, ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age‑specific needs. Prepares patient for procedures. Operates CT equipment.
