Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our imaging team. You will perform CT imaging, prepare patients, and ensure safety while delivering high-quality diagnostic images in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT CT certification, an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, and state licensure. Experience with acute care settings and strong communication is preferred to support patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• AR RT certification required; ARRT CT (R)(CT) or equivalent.
• State license required.
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• One year CT experience preferred.
• Nuclear Medicine program graduate considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and acquire diagnostic images.

Overview of Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.
• Experience: One year experience in CT, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • NH Medical Center- Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire. Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) within 6 months of hire, required.
  • NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT), required.
  • NH Medical Group Office-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT), required.
  • IV Credentialed, required.
  • Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, required.
  • Applicable state license, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient, ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Prepares patient for procedures. Operates CT equipment.
