Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a CT Technologist II to join our Skokie Hospital team. The role performs CT exams, prepares patients, and ensures high-quality imaging for physician diagnosis. On-site, full-time schedule with on-call duties, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Ideal candidates have a radiology certification or an associate degree, CPR and Advanced CT certification, and at least five years of CT experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Certification CPR required; Advanced CT Certification required.
• Certification or Associate's degree in Radiology completed.
• At least 5 years CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams for physician diagnoses per standards.
• Prepare patients: history, explanations, positioning, comfort.
• Submit images to radiologist promptly and ensure quality.
• Review CTs to ensure optimum image quality.

Hourly Pay Range:

$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: CT Technologist II
• Location: Skokie Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
• Hours: M- Tu- Wed 7 am - 3:30 pm Sat 7:00 am - 10:30 pm
• On Call: Yes
• Required Travel: Local

What you will do:

• Perform CT exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures
• Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
• Complete all paperwork and submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner
• Review CT's to ensure optimum quality

What you will need:

• Education: Certification or Associate's degree in Radiology from an accredited program
• Certification: CPR Certification required; Advanced CT Certification required
• Experience: Previous CT Technologist experience - at least 5 years preferred
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
