Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a CT Technologist II for Highland Park Hospital to perform CT exams and prepare patients in line with department standards. You will ensure timely image submission to radiologists and maintain high-quality CT scans.

Requirements include Certification or an Associate’s degree in Radiology, CPR certification, and Advanced CT Certification; 5 years CT experience preferred. This is a full-time role with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and on-call duties.

• CPR certification required; Advanced CT Certification required.
• 5 years CT technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams for physicians to diagnose and treat patients according to standards.
• Prepare patients: history, explain procedures, position, ensure comfort.
• Submit images to radiologist in a timely manner and review CT quality.

$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

CT Technologist II Position Highlights

• Sign on Bonus: $10,000
• Position: CT Technologist II
• Location: Highland Park Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
• Hours: Sunday from 7am-11pm, and every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 2pm-10:30pm
• On Call: Yes
• Required Travel: Local

What you will do

• Perform CT exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures
• Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
• Complete all paperwork and submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner
• Review CT's to ensure optimum quality

What you will need

• Education: Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program
• Certification: CPR Certification required; Advanced CT Certification required
• Experience: Previous CT Technologist experience – at least 5 years preferred
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
