Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a CT Technologist II at Highland Park Hospital to perform CT exams, prepare patients, and ensure image quality. The role requires CPR and Advanced CT Certification, with a preferred five years of CT experience. A sign-on bonus is offered, and the position is full-time with specific weekend/evening hours.

Qualifications

• Certification or Associate's degree in Radiology from an accredited program.
• CPR Certification required; Advanced CT Certification required.
• Previous CT Technologist experience - at least 5 years preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams for physician use in diagnosing and treating patient illness or injury, per standards.
• Prepare patients for exam: obtain history, explain procedures, position patients, ensure comfort.
• Complete all paperwork and submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner.
• Review CTs to ensure optimum quality.

$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
• Hours: Sunday from 7am-11pm, and every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 2pm-10:30pm
• On Call: Yes
• Required Travel: Local

What you will do:

• Perform CT exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures
• Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
• Complete all paperwork and submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner
• Review CT's to ensure optimum quality

What you will need:

• Education:Certification or Associate's degree in Radiology from an accredited program
• Certification:CPRCertification required; Advanced CT Certification required
• Experience:Previous CT Technologist experience - at least 5 years preferred
