Qualifications

  • Completion of Radiologic Technologist Program and ARRT certification.
  • Current BLS certification and state radiography licensure as applicable.
  • CT imaging experience and commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans per protocol and radiologist recommendations.
  • Apply ALARA principles and ensure proper patient identification.
  • Conduct workups including perfusions and reconstructions on the 3-D workstation.
  • Accurately document and enter study data in RadNet and PACS.
  • Maintain high-quality diagnostic exams and follow safety procedures.

As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.

As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.

Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.

To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.

  • Performs CT scans based on current protocols and/or radiologist recommendations. CT scans include but are not limited to: Trauma/ER, Perfusions, Routine Body, Routine Neuro, Cardiac and Interventional
  • Procedures, Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others. Uses ALARA on every exam when selecting parameters for exam based on patient age and habitatus.
  • Displays competency performing procedures; follows National Patient Safety Goals for two patient identifier, hand hygiene and universal precautions. Always produces high quality diagnostic exams. Accurately enters, selects and/or merges the correct patient identification information on the scanner and in PAC system.
  • Accurately and proficiently performs work-ups, such as perfusions & reconstructions, on the 3-D workstation
  • Accurately and thoroughly completes hospital/department specific forms per protocol. Completes exams in Radnet.

  • American Heart Association
    • Basic Life Support - CPR
